Over the next five years the Youth Football Framework will be introduced gradually. It's important its introduction is guided by research and feedback from all involved. This phased approach lets us be strategic, flexible and responsive.
We’re focused on outcomes. That means we'll measure what matters most: the real-world impact of the Youth Football Framework on young players, coaches and the wider football community. And with your feedback, we'll continue to refine and improve it for everyone.
The youth review consisted of four phases over a 12-month period. During each phase, research and consultation was independently led by Ulster University.
Over 150 clubs engaged with over 250 hours of consultation throughout Northern Ireland stakeholders. This included players, coaches, parents, teachers, referees and club administrators.
